The names of childcare providers listed should be considered referrals only, not recommendations.  The Greater Long Beach Lakewood Daycare Association  does not warrant accuracy of provider information, nor can we assure the quality of any childcare provider referred in this process. It is your right and responsibility to seek as much information as you can in order to choose childcare that meets your family’s needs. 

Note: California state law requires a licensed childcare facility to make accessible to the public a copy of any licensing report that documents a facility visit. In addition, a more complete file regarding a childcare licensee may be available at an office of the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division by contacting
